勇士3A（Gwinnett Braves）王建民台北時間22日移出傷兵名單，迎戰印地安人3A，投出本季代表作，先發7.2局僅失1分非責失，終場球隊以6比1贏球，王建民中止開季4連敗，本季首勝到手，宣告強勢回歸！
王建民前7局打完都沒有丟分，8局下連續解決首兩名人次後，被敲出1支安打，隨即隊友發生失誤，讓跑者進佔三壘，王建民再被擊出1支滾地安打，失掉唯一1分，後援投手Cody Martin在2出局一、二壘有人接替王建民投球，送出3振，化解該局危機，也幫助建仔拿下勝投。
此戰王建民用94球、58球好球，被敲8支安打，讓對方3度打出雙殺打，無功而返，送出2次三振，沒有任何保送，防禦率降至4.70。
王建民日前因牛棚練投拉傷大腿，教練團謹慎處理，將他放進7天傷兵名單，也跳過17日的先發，此戰投出7.2局沒有責失，表現相當精彩。
